We’re pleased to share that Innovazione Sociale – one of Italy’s leading magazines on the third sector, participatory culture and civic innovation – has published an in-depth article on the fifth edition of AVANT Festival, running between 10-12th October 2025.
In the piece, Innovazione Sociale describes a festival that places listening at the heart of its vision: music as a tool for connecting with the land, with memory, and with new forms of social and sonic cohesion.
The article traces both the landscapes of Salento that host the festival and the ideas that inspire it — a collective reflection on how culture can become a space for encounter, dialogue, and active citizenship.
In recent months, AVANT Festival has also been featured in other major national and international media, including Artribune, Zero, the German newspaper TAZ, and the British magazine The Wire — a sign of growing interest in projects that weave together music and social research and activism.
For us, these narratives are an invitation to keep building communities through sound, ideas, and people — within the festival and across the other initiatives that our association continues to develop.
