On 22 October 2026, Sud Sonico will be in Copenhagen for “Meet the Italians”, an initiative organised by MXD – Music Export Denmark bringing together Italian and Danish music professionals. Ludovico Esposito, President of Sud Sonico, has been invited to join the Italian delegation representing AVANT Festival.
The gathering aims to strengthen connections between the two countries and explore opportunities for collaboration across the music sector, with particular attention to live music. The Italian delegation brings together professionals working in concert and festival promotion, venues, music publishing, communications and sync. Its small-scale format will provide space for direct conversations and meaningful introductions.
Taking part in such initiative means to keep building on an approach that connects musical exploration, international cooperation and local cultural development. Through AVANT Festival, alongside its training activities and collaborative projects, the association works to make music a space for exchange, learning and participation, creating opportunities for artists, professionals and communities.
In Copenhagen, we will bring the experience we have developed in Lecce and the wider Salento area: a place from which to build international relationships, and to which we hope to bring new ideas, knowledge and opportunities for discovery. We look forward to meeting peers, exchanging approaches and identifying shared interests that could lead to artistic exchanges and joint projects.
Coming shortly after the sixth edition of AVANT Festival, this invitation offers an opportunity to nurture the relationships that support its development. For us, building a network means investing time in listening and reciprocity, creating the conditions for an initial conversation to grow into a lasting collaboration.
