Music therapy laboratories for pregnant mothers

Sud Sonico’s vice president Simone Gatto has launched a series of music therapy laboratories for pregnant women.

The laboratories consist of learning and applying various breathing exercises, vocalization and listening to frequencies or melodies. Hearing is in fact the first sensation that the unborn child develops in the womb. From the fifth month onwards, the unborn child himself is able to distinguish the sounds coming from both inside and outside the uterus.

Numerous studies confirm the benefits of music therapy, even some melodies and frequencies heard during the workshops seem to be essential for the well-being of the mother and child.
